Jesper Vervoort (aka Jespfur) is a multi-instrumentalist & artist based in Amsterdam. With three mixtapes, several singles and selected audiovisual works released to date, Jespfur has slowly but steadily been honing his DIY approach, resulting in an honest, unpredictable and elusive catalogue. As multi-instrumentalist, Jespfur plays and records all instruments and vocals himself. His distinc tive blend frequently come together resulting in «sound collage». Jespfur has been performing in various spaces through EU & UK in an always changing live setting. On his mesmerising full-length, ‘Pedestrians Of Bright Silence’ (2024), the listener follows Jespfur through frantically collaged pieces of hypnagogic pop, experimental rock and neo-psychedelia. A close-quarters pursuit through an unsettled collection of dusty but razor-sharp patchworks.
